Projects
Since the birth of the company in 2004, KGF Cox have worked on a huge variety of projects with a diverse range of clients. Below is a small overview of some of the previously completed projects we have had the pleasure of working on.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Working for one of our most valued clients KCCJ, KGF Cox undertook the design of the the mechanical services to the kitchens, bars and support areas.

REAL Term Long Eaton
Working alongside CBRE, KGF Cox Ltd were appointed to work client side and provide a set of employers requirements for the proposed refurbishment of an industrial site in Long Eaton. Further to the ER's, KGF Cox were are appointed for the post contract monitoring aspect of the works.

Merry Hill Shopping Centre
Another valued client is Intu who own and operate Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Brierley Hill.
KGF Cox have been working with this client since 2004 and have been involved on a large number of prestigious projects including delivering the new Next Store, multiple shop front alterations and landlords works associated with the Food Court.

Glasgow Hydro Arena
Working again with KCCJ, KGF Cox provided the mechanical and electrical service designs for the kitchens, bars, support and ancillary areas for the new Hydro Arena in Glasgow.

Hoka Running Store, Covent Garden
Working with one of our valued clients Silverman Group, KGF Cox Ltd were appointed to undertake the mechanical services designs for the new Hoka Running shoe store in Covent Garden. Hoka's only store outside the USA.

West Midlands Ambulance Service
KGF Cox have been working with West Midlands Ambulance Service for many years and have been involved with a number of large projects.
One of the more notable projects, was the construction of the new WMAS Hub located in Oldbury. KGF Cox Ltd were appointed to undertake the Stage 3 design and continued onsite monitoring throughout the construction period.

Man City Store, Arndale
Working again with our valued client Silverman Group, KGF Cox Ltd were appointed to undertake the mechanical design for the Man City Store, Arndale Centre, Manchester.

Sapphire Court, Solihull.
Sapphire Court is located in the heart of Solihull. The project consisted of the redevelopment of an existing office building into a upmarket apartments and houses.
KGF Cox Ltd were appointed as the mechanical designer for the 3 phases of the project consisting of 2 phases of apartments and 1 phase of housing.
The apartments utilised electric boilers providing the heating and hot water and mechanical extract only ventilation.

Turves Green Girls School, Birmingham
Working in partnership with another valued client Steane Ltd, Mechanical and Electrical contractors. KGF Cox undertook the Stage 4 design of the mechanical services for the new build secondary school project, located in Birmingham utilising high efficiency gas fired boilers to provide heating and hot water.
Ventilation to the classroom areas was provided by hybrid ventilation units located at high level to provide a sufficient strategy for compliance with BB101.

Coventry Railway Station Redevelopment
KGF Cox Ltd were Tasked to undertake the Stage 4 detailed design of the mechanical services for the new Coventry Railway Station redevelopment project. This included the design of the new concourse, back of house and multi-story car park.

Black Country Living Museum, Forging Ahead Project
KGF Cox Ltd were lucky enough to be appointed as the mechanical designers for the new visitors centre and historic street installation at the Black Country Museum.
The visitors centre utilised high efficiency air to water heat pumps to provide space heating and cooling for the space as well as using natural stack ventilation to provide sufficient ventilation to the open plan entrance and exhibition areas.
The historic street was a little more challenging, whereby the mechanical systems had to be designed to be in compliance with the latest regulations, whilst also ensuring that he buildings maintained their aesthetics from the 1940-1960s.

Orchard Place, Redditch. Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust.
KGF Cox were appointed, working in partnership with one of our values clients Midwest M&E to provide the stage 3 and 4 mechanical and electrical designs for the refurbishment of Orchard Place, Redditch.

Pritchatts Park, University of Birmingham
KGF Cox were appointed to undertake the mechanical services design for the redevelopment of Pritchatts Park Student Accommodation at the University of Birmingham.
The project consisted of the construction of 8 new blocks totally to a number of 59 townhouses across the existing Pritchatts Park site,. The townhouses were constructed utilising an energy efficient fabric first approach.
In addition of the townhouses, KGF Cox were also tasked to designed the mechanical services for the refurbishment of the existing Pritchatts House, an existing multistorey student accommodation block on the same site.

Worcester Royal Hospital
KGF Cox Ltd have been involved with multiple schemes throughout Worcester Royal Hospital. From early Stage 2 design reports, through to detailed RIBA Stage 4 MEP designs.

Danesford Care Home, Bridgenorth
KGF Cox undertook the design of the mechanical and electrical services and provided onsite monitoring throughout the construction phase of the Danesford Carehome renovation and extension in Bridgenorth.
